Fall/Winter 2008 Inspirations

Have you ever wondered where Kazuyo gets her inspiration?  Here is a peek into the mind of New York's finest Japanese handbag designer...

Mood boards from her Fall/Winter 2008 Collection...

For this exotic and versatile collection, Kazuyo drew ideas from the roaring 20's.  A time when fashion, culture and art flourished with bold colors and statements- an era that redefined modern womanhood.

As a designer, Kazuyo often takes a peek back into history and researches influential women during different eras.  Many of these women defied the norm and created their own standards for living, which oftentimes helped shape the world we live in today.

Inspiration for the Alice collection...

The impeccable craftsmanship utilizes the multi-pewter snake print to keep the outer-pockets camouflaged in plane sight.  Also with smart design in mind, the AL-880 is made to be carried in up to three ways: handbag, shoulder bag, clutch.

Inspiration for the Agnes collection...

The inspiration images chosen contained a variety of geometric shapes, which were translated into a quilted stitch pattern.  The Agnes collection offers an understated casual-chic combination along with functionality and quality materials.
